It helps in many stomach disorders such as constipation, acidity, heartburn, stomach ulcers, inflammation of the lining of the stomach, and acid reflux. Its mild laxative effect plays a key role in regulating bowel movements. It protects the stomach and intestine from infection due to its anti bacterial properties. Licose also  fights against  Helicobacter pylori-infected peptic ulcers.
Combine 1 Tbsp (15 ml) of crushed Liquorice, or licorice root with 2 cups (500 ml) of water in a small saucepan. Simmer the mixture on your stove over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Filter before drinking. Consume the tea once a day for a month to help heal acid reflux and peptic ulcers.
Mix  equal parts of Liquorice, or licorice, chamomile, and peppermint. Add 5 time more water in it, means if mixture is one gram them water should be 5grams and give it low heat for 10 minutes. Strain and drink as a way of treating indigestion and heartburn
Different ulcers are helped by Liquorice such as those in the stomach, mouth and intestines. Liquorice has anti-oxidant properties as well as anti-inflammatory properties which make it the best natural medicinal treatment to aid in removal of ulcers as well as reducing gastric secretions which can lead to better intestinal mucus lining.

Roots of licorice are also used to deal with stomach and digestion problems with the help of glycyrrhizin and its compound, carbenoxolone. It is one of the ancient home remedies for relieving constipation, acidity, heartburn, stomach discomfort, inflammation of digestive system and gastro esophageal acid reflux. As a mild laxative, it plays an effective role in bowel movements and also for treatment of allergic cough in addition to maintaining normal pH levels.

This herb can treat respiratory tract infections, such as a sore throat, cold, cough and asthma. Its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help reduce inflammation of the bronchial tubes and calm the airways. It even loosens and thins mucus in airways, which eases congestion and coughing.

Combine 1 Tbsp (15 ml) of crushed Liquorice, or licorice root with 2 cups (500 ml) of water in a small saucepan. Simmer the mixture on your stove over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Filter before drinking.

Strain and drink while still warm. This particular blend can be used to treat colds, sore throat, and indigestion.

Liquorice, or licorice is very effective to treat the mouth sores and bad breath, Take one tea spoon powder of Liquorice, or licorice and mix it with lukewarm water (normal room temperature water)  or Combined 1 tsp (5ml) or Liquorice, or licorice powder in 8 oz. (250ml) of lukewarm water and stir until the powder is completely dissolved, and gargle three to four time a day  When used for mouth sores, this solution should not be swallowed , gargling with it  will reduce and eliminate the mouth sores and bad breath.

(Mulethi isits Hindi and urdu name of Liquorice or Licorice) It is widely used as a flavoring agent in sweets, chewing gum, toothpaste and beverages like soft drinks and beer.  Mostly its root is used for treatment in Asia, india, Pakistan  and Middle East and also in Greek and roman civilization.
